Autogenous Mills

An autogenous mill is a type of mill used to break and and grind rocks. The rocks are placed in a large cylinder, or drum, and the mill is rotated so that the rocks continously tumble and fall to the bottom of the drum. As this process is repeated, the rocks are broken and eventually ground due to the impact load of the falling rocks.
