Brine Pumps

A Brine Pump refers to a pump used to remove water in a boiler tank. It often works in conjunction with a feed pump, where the feed pump supplies fresh water to the boiler tank while the brine pump removes an equal amount of water from the tank. The brine pump is located in an area of the tank so that it draws from water with elevated dissolved solids; the goal being to purge dissolved solids from the boiler system.
