Gears : Worm Gears
A Worm Gear is used to position the rotation of the output shaft at 90 degrees to the input shaft. Worm gears are more compact than bevel gears and can be used to provide large speed reductions without need for extra idlers. A worm gear resembles a screw in appearance.
