Ethernet Adaptor
An ethernet adaptor is a piece of computer equipment used to enable a piece of hardware or a computer system to communicate with other components over a computer network. This network is most often an ethernet-type network with well-established protocols. All components on the ethernet network are identified by their Media Access Control (MAC) address, a 48-bit serial number unique to the network component.
