Flow Meters : Rotating Vane Flow Meter
A flowmeter is an instrumentation device used to measure and record the flow rate of a gas or fluid. A rotating vane flow meter is a type of positive displacement meter in which the fluid passed through a rotating set of vanes. The passage between each set of vanes delivers a specific volume of fluid to the outlet side of the meter, allowing the flow rate to be determined based on the rotational rate of the vanes.
