Couplings : Flexible Gear Couplings
Couplings are mechanical fasteners, usually used to join two pieces of a shaft together for the purpose of driving rotating equipment. Flexible gear couplings are a type of coupling used when the shafts to be connected or not collinear. Each shaft is fitted with a flexible joint and gear and connected to a spindle which transmits the torque from one shaft to the other.
