High Speed Spindles

A spindle is a general term used to describe any rotating, cylindrical device used to perform a task. For example, high speed spindles are used in tools such as a CNC machines or tools for sanding, polishing and routing. The tooling component, such as a bit, is attached to the spindle by a nut, called a collet, that tightens down onto the shaft of the bit.
